This little cottage was in desperate need of a face lift – especially facing out to the sunny garden !

We needed to open up the house and provide a little haven both inside and out!
And some way to hide all the existing pipes!
….somewhere that was bright and airy but “felt like a room not a conservatory”- using a pitched roof we could avail of the extra height internally
tiny but functional kitchen- keeping the space all one palette can help to create a sense of space
….and every little space counts in a small house!

Some well placed bamboos provided privacy where needed, without the enclosed feel of a big wall
